Are Governmentwide Contracts Helping or Hurting Small Contractors?

The Committee on Small Business will hold a hybrid hearing titled: “Are Governmentwide Contracts Helping or Hurting Small Contractors?” The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Participating members can also join remotely via Zoom.
The hearing will examine governmentwide contracts, including the Best-In-Class (BICs) contracts that originate from the Category Management initiative, and assess their impact on the federal small business base. Members will have the opportunity to explore potential solutions to reduce the barriers to entry for small businesses as it pertains to such contracts.
