CMMC Implementation: What It Means for Small Businesses

The Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Regulations will hold a hybrid hearing titled: “CMMC Implementation: What It Means for Small Businesses.” The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Participating members can also join remotely via Zoom.
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the Department of Defense’s latest initiative to increase cybersecurity preparedness across the defense industrial base. The hearing will provide Members the opportunity to learn more about this initiative, its implementation, and the compliance challenges it poses for small businesses.
